Ferocious Flora

B-horror movies have no shortage of strange and silly antagonists. One trend in particular stands out from the rest–killer plants. Through scale, texture, and typography, the Killer Plants series is an homage to the B-horror movie posters of the past as well as a more chic reimagining of what they could be. The posters focus on four movies from different decades to show how the idea of killer plants has manifested over the years. Each one incorporates a limited color palette meant to represent one of the four seasons. The bone chilling illustrations depict one or two characters cowering from the looming threat of the plant in the background.
